ABOUT MIRIAM
North Devon Artist

Hello, I am Miriam Turner.

I was born in Swindon, Wiltshire and moved to North Devon in 2004, where I still reside.

I love living by the sea and draw my inspiration from walking around the coastline and surrounding beauty spots.

I enjoy using different styles and mediums to create vibrant and exciting pieces and have been painting and selling my artwork for many years.

I also love animals and have trained and practice as an animal communicator. My other website www.miriam-turner.com offers animal communication readings and inspirational jewellery which has been stamped with uplifting words and phrases.

I used to participate in a number of craft fairs and exhibitions throughout the year, but now focus on selling my work on-line and via a selection of shops on North Devon.

I am part of a co-operative artisan shop in Ilfracombe ‘Forty Three Shop’ on Fore Street where I also work a morning a week.

I love painting on glass, using acrylics, watercolours and having fun with mixed media. I also decorate oyster and scallop shells and love making jewellery as well as printing my artwork on glass coasters and hotplates to give a more practical element to my work.
